The condensed and expressive brushstrokes are expression of my inner admiration with which I treat the subject of my painting․ I got my own unique style which I am dynamically changing and developing.

Artist Profile
Arusyak Pashikyan
Born in 1981 in the village of Koghb, Tavush province, Arusyak Pashikyan is an Armenian painter whose creative path has been profoundly shaped by the cultural and natural environment of his homeland. From 1998 to 2003, he studied at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Khachatur Abovyan State Pedagogical University in Yerevan, receiving a strong academic foundation while developing his individual artistic voice. Since 2003, he has worked as a painter at the Cultural Center of Koghb and as a teacher of fine arts at the Koghb Art School, nurturing new generations of young artists.
His works have been presented in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Armenia and internationally, including Switzerland, Germany, Hungary, and Belarus. Among his solo exhibitions are those held at Zvartnots International Airport (Yerevan, 2022), the Alaverdi branch of the National Gallery of Armenia (2021), and the Armenian State Pedagogical University (2002). Over the years, he has also participated in significant group exhibitions such as “Rating” (Artists’ Union of Armenia, 2023–2025), “We are Tavush” (Dilijan, 2024), “Artsakh My Forever” (Yerevan, 2023), “Painted Equator Armenia” (Yerevan, 2022), and “Intercultural Art East and West” (Hungary, 2013), among many others.
The artist’s work is distinguished by condensed and expressive brushstrokes that reflect his inner admiration for the world around him. The nature of Tavush, with its vivid landscapes and poetic beauty, has remained an inexhaustible source of inspiration, often leading him to paint outdoors. His canvases capture both the immediacy of lived experience and a timeless spiritual dimension, where colors and forms reveal the essence of harmony.
Through years of dedicated practice, [Artist’s Name] has cultivated his own unique style—dynamic, evolving, and deeply personal. His artistic philosophy rests on the belief that painting is not merely representation but a dialogue between the visible and the invisible, the external world and the artist’s inner vision.
Today, his works are part of collections in Armenia and abroad, admired for their emotional honesty and their ability to connect the viewer with the beauty and depth of human experience.
